The Windows 98 Tools page has added functionality for many of the tools for maintaining or troubleshooting Windows 98. The new Windows Basics Page uses mouseover and textbox to provide information about the Windows Desktop. Some of the items have links to pages which provide more information on the My Computer Application. Click the Control Panel Icon on the My Computer map and you are transferred to the Control Panel Page. Clicking on the items such as TWEAKUI, QuickTime and RealPlayer will take you to the pages to download those optional items. Wayne has been working on the Backdoor.PolyDrop Trojan for over a year and was the one place to turn to when Symantec's Fix did not work, Wayne also has a secret weapon for cleaning this trojan file. The KAKworm virus is still active and Wayne has been fighting it longer than the BackDoor.PolyDrop. The old Windows Tool Page has been redesigned to allow Internet Explorer users to click on a button and open a tool for Windows 98. This should help with the instruction sent to visitors who seek Wayne's assistance with Windows problems. It should also help people develop a better feel for the tools.
